Case Studies

When you work with Groundcover Landscaping you are getting a contractor who is trustworthy, efficient and can offer advice based on solid experience and quality know-how.

So - to prove we're all those things(and more) we've included some recent case studies to show you our capabilities and to let those who've chosen to work with us share their experience with you.

Barbara and Greg wanted a complete renovation of their front property...

...They came to us with a plan that had been drawn by landscape designer Helen Young. The job also involved extending paving on their existing driveway to provide extra parking and easy access to the side of their house. Once we had completed all the hard landscaping work, the designer carried out the planting, and we provided the finishing touch with a new lawn.

Jo and Jack wanted a feature garden...

...on their lifestyle block. To provide structure a pergola was created with in-built seating. Feature rocks and a water feature made from recycled railway sleepers completed the area. We also built up the garden level towards the back of the garden for extra height and planted it out with evergreen shrubs which will, in time, provide a good amount of privacy. Maple trees were added at the back of the garden for some height and seasonal interest.

Kerry and Doreen wanted to make their utility area more practical and inviting.

Decorative pebbles and stepping stones replaced the grass, which then enabled all weather access. Raised garden edging was installed to provide a clean edge to the existing gardens and new back steps were created to match the stepping stones. Kerry and Doreen had a clear idea of what they wanted, so we simply provided a few extra ideas and between us we worked out the best solution.

"When we approached Graeme to get a quote for some landscaping we wanted done, we had a pretty clear idea of what we wanted. Graeme made several suggestions at the time, some of which were discarded only to be reconsidered and incorporated as we saw the garden taking shape. As work progressed, Graeme, several times, asked for our feedback and offered further suggestions..."
