Pimelea prostrata or NZ Daphne, is a groundcover, and is a hardy little plant growing to cover about 1 metre. It has delicate foliage, and will form a dense mat, with tiny white flowers in spring through to autumn. Pimelia prostrata prefers full sun, and looks great cascading down a rock or retaining wall. Libertias look good with this groundcover, as do grasses such as carex testacea. If you have an especially dry area, try growing it with Marlborough Rock Daisies.
